Children and Young Person’s Social Prescribing is an initiative that helps young people across the East Riding access a range of services within their community in order to boost their wellbeing. Social Prescribing is aimed towards young people looking to improve their physical, social and mental wellbeing. Social Prescribing can help with a range of difficulties, from low mood and self esteem to accessing education, work or training.
The Children and Young Person’s Social Prescribing Service is accessible to those aged 11-18 or up to 25 with SEND. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. Please be assured any self-referral made into the service will be responded to within 48 working hours.
